Type 2s live in a sort of ‘give to get’ universe, where they try to fulfill everyone else’s (never-ending) needs in order to assure that their own (totally repressed) needs will be met. Not only are they acting as ‘agents of other’s fulfillment’ (David Daniels term), but almost as if they’re agents of the Universe itself.
